Stream Restoration
Our specialty is the restoration, enhancement, and stability of streams and rivers and we have produced several projects that have met or exceeded goals set by our clients. Each restoration project involves stabilizing eroding streambanks through grading and planting woody vegetation and native plantings to hold the banks in place.
In order to keep the banks in place we often utilize rock and log veins to divert the water accordingly. Stream restorations often include in-water structures that create pools and riffles, which help oxygenate the water and provide a diversity of habitats for fish and other aquatic wildlife.
Below is a list of our stream restoration projects. For a complete list of every Stonewood Landshaping project click here.
